Position Highlights

F&B Beach Server. In this essential guest-facing role, you serve as a key ambassador of the island experience. Your core purpose is to provide seamless and attentive service to guests enjoying our world-class beach facilities. By managing orders and guest needs with a calm, confident, and understated professional presence, you contribute directly to the comfort and satisfaction of our international clientele while maintaining the high standards of the Divi brand.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and warmly as they arrive in the beach area.
• Present menus, provide expert recommendations, and answer questions regarding food and beverage offerings.
• Capture accurate orders and coordinate with the kitchen and bar for timely delivery.
• Provide attentive follow-up service, anticipating guest needs without being intrusive.
• Set up, stock, and break down beach service stations daily to ensure operational readiness.
• Maintain the immaculate cleanliness and organization of all service areas.
• Process guest payments accurately through POS systems and manage cash handling protocols.
• Adhere strictly to resort safety, hygiene, and local health regulations.
• Collaborate effectively with teammates and participate in pre-shift briefings and training sessions.

Requirements, Skills & Traits

Requirements:

Completed EPB or MAVO education; EPI is considered an advantage. Candidates must be 18 years or older and possess a valid Health Card and a Dutch Passport or valid work permit for Aruba.

Core Skills:

Previous experience in a server or similar food and beverage role is required. Proficiency in operating POS systems and basic knowledge of cocktails and beverage preparation. Multilingual capabilities in English, Spanish, Dutch, and Papiamento.

Soft Skills:

A friendly, service-minded personality with strong multitasking and problem-solving abilities. Must be reliable and capable of working independently in a fast-paced outdoor environment.

Success Metrics

Excellence in this role is demonstrated by high levels of guest satisfaction and the seamless delivery of food and beverage services in a beach environment. Success is measured by your ability to maintain clean and organized service stations, the accuracy of your order and payment processing, and your contribution to a stable and efficient team workflow during peak operational periods.
