Position Highlights

Remote Reservations Coordinator. As a fully remote independent contractor, your core purpose is to be the first personal connection for guests and travel partners around the world. Operating from your own professional home office on Aruba Standard Time (AST), you will provide world-class service, creating seamless reservation experiences that maximize guest satisfaction and set the stage for an unforgettable stay.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist guests and travel partners with reservations, packages, add-ons, and special requests
• Provide warm, professional, and timely communication via email and other approved channels
• Process new reservations, modifications, cancellations, and guest requests accurately
• Maintain complete and accurate reservation records within the Property Management System
• Collaborate closely with Front Office, Concierge, Housekeeping, Accounting, and other departments
• Support travel agents, tour operators, online travel agencies, and contracted partners
• Monitor reservation inboxes and respond promptly within established service standards

Requirements, Skills & Traits

Requirements:

A hospitality education and/or a minimum of two years of experience in hospitality, reservations, or customer service is required. Previous hotel reservations experience is strongly preferred. Must be available to work a five-day work week with rotating weekend coverage according to Aruba Standard Time (AST). Requires a reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet, professional home office workspace.

Core Skills:

Experience with a Property Management System (Opera experience is a distinct advantage). Excellent written and spoken English is mandatory. Additional languages such as Spanish, German, Italian, Dutch, or Papiamento are valuable assets. Possesses a sales-oriented mindset with the ability to comfortably convert inquiries into reservations.

Soft Skills:

Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment. Warm, professional communication style paired with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities. A highly independent worker who remains a collaborative and dependable team member.

Success Metrics

Reservation inboxes are managed efficiently, and responses consistently meet or exceed established service standards. Inquiries are successfully converted into bookings through a service-driven approach. Reservation records are flawlessly maintained within the system, ensuring seamless handoffs to on-property operational teams.
