About this skill
Communicating effectively in more than one language, such as Papiamento, English, Dutch and Spanish, with colleagues and guests.
For candidates
List each language with an honest level (basic, conversational, fluent, native) and where you have used it at work. Papiamento and Dutch are Aruba's official languages; most visitors speak English, and Spanish is the main language of the fast-growing Latin American market.
For employers
Name the languages and the level each needs, for example "English fluent, Spanish conversational". Test briefly in the interview by switching language for a few questions.
How matching works
Matching is most reliable when both the profile and job listing use this same skill and any expected proficiency is set accurately.
