Position Highlights

Sales Associate. As a key brand ambassador in our resort-based boutiques, your core purpose is to provide a personalized and elevated shopping experience for our guests. You serve as a knowledgeable guide, combining technical retail proficiency with a warm, professional presence to manage transactions, maintain store aesthetics, and ensure our collections are presented with the highest standards of care.

Key Responsibilities

• Proactively engage with guests to provide expert product information and style advice.
• Process and record sales transactions accurately using our point-of-sale systems.
• Maintain the visual integrity of the boutique through frequent restocking and meticulous organization of merchandise.
• Support the management team with routine inventory procedures and stock counts.
• Ensure the boutique environment remains pristine and welcoming throughout the shift.
• Represent Tradewinds Aruba with professional poise and a commitment to brand standards.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless and supportive operational workflow.

Requirements, Skills & Traits

Requirements:

Minimum MAVO diploma or an Associate’s Degree. Candidates must be 25 years of age or older and possess a valid Aruban work permit. At least one (1) year of relevant guest service or retail experience is preferred. Full fluency in English is required; knowledge of Spanish, Dutch, or Papiamento is an asset.

Core Skills:

Basic computer proficiency and experience with cash handling and transaction processing. Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a dynamic retail environment.

Soft Skills:

A cheerful and friendly demeanor paired with a high level of honesty and integrity. A genuine interest in the fashion industry and a proactive, team-oriented approach to work.

Success Metrics

Demonstrated consistency in meeting or exceeding monthly sales and commission targets. Maintained high standards of store organization and merchandise presentation. Positive guest feedback regarding service quality and product knowledge. Accurate and efficient completion of inventory and administrative tasks.

• Competitive starting salary of AWG 2,225.00 per month.
