Receiving and paying out cash accurately, giving correct change, and counting and reconciling the till or float at the end of a shift.
For candidates
Say how much cash you were responsible for and how you closed the till: float counts, variances, end-of-day reports. If you handled more than one currency, such as florins and US dollars, mention it.
For employers
Describe the cash process: till size, who counts, whether the role makes deposits. A short counting exercise with change in two currencies is a simple test.
