What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Some are needed for the site to work, such as keeping you logged in. Others help us understand how the site is used or measure our advertising. Similar technologies, such as tags that load from another service, are covered by this policy too.

Your Choice

When you first visit Aruba Jobs we ask which cookies you allow. Only essential cookies are used until you choose. You can accept all, reject all, or choose per category, and you can change your choice at any time with the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page. If you withdraw consent, we delete the cookies those tools placed on aruba-jobs.com and stop loading them.

Essential Cookies

These make the site work and cannot be switched off. They are not used to track you.

• wordpress_logged_in_*, wordpress_sec_*, wordpress_test_cookie (Aruba Jobs): keep you logged in and protect your account. Deleted when you log out or close the browser, or after up to 14 days when you choose “remember me”.
• wp_woocommerce_session_*, woocommerce_cart_hash, woocommerce_items_in_cart (Aruba Jobs): remember your cart and checkout when you buy a job package. Up to 2 days.
• aj_consent (Aruba Jobs): remembers your cookie choice. 180 days.
• PHPSESSID (CX Pay, our card payment provider): an anonymous session needed for card payments. Deleted when you close the browser.

Statistics Cookies

Used only if you allow statistics. They show us which pages are visited and how often, so we can improve the site.

• _ga, _ga_* (Google Analytics, by Google): count visits and pages viewed. Up to 2 years.
• sbjs_* (WooCommerce order attribution): note where a visit came from, such as a search engine, social media or a direct visit, so we can see which channels lead to job package orders. Most expire within minutes; one lasts 30 minutes.
• aj_vid, aj_vday (Aruba Jobs): our own count of daily visitors. aj_vid is a random number with no link to you; we store only a scrambled (hashed) version of it. 180 days and 2 days.

Marketing Cookies

Used only if you allow marketing. They let us measure our advertising and show Aruba Jobs to people who visited the site.

• _fbp, _fbc (Meta Pixel, by Meta Platforms, for Facebook and Instagram): measure the results of our ads and build audiences of site visitors. 90 days.
• li_fat_id, li_sugr, bcookie, lidc, UserMatchHistory, AnalyticsSyncHistory (LinkedIn Insight Tag, by LinkedIn): measure the results of our LinkedIn ads and build audiences of site visitors. Some are set on linkedin.com. From 1 day to 1 year.

Third Parties
