About this skill
Serving food and drinks to guests in a restaurant, bar, banquet or room-service setting: taking orders, knowing the menu, serving correctly and keeping the section clean and ready.
For candidates
Name the formats you know: à la carte, buffet, banquet, room service, beach service. If you can describe wines, explain allergens or work a section of a set size, say so. Your POS system experience belongs here too.
F&B service requires a valid health certificate. List it with its expiry date.
For employers
State the outlet type, the section size and the languages guests speak. Ask for a valid health certificate or say you arrange it. A role-play of taking an order with an allergy question is a quick, fair test.
