Position Highlights

As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you provide the critical leadership required to maintain our rigorous standards of presentation and guest comfort. Your core purpose is to guide and motivate the housekeeping team, ensuring seamless room turnovers, meticulous cleanliness, and an exceptional environment for our resort guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the daily operations of the room attendant team, handling assignments, attendance, and shift inspections.
• Execute rigorous daily inspections of guest rooms, VIP suites, and public areas to guarantee compliance with resort quality standards.
• Conduct continuous on-the-job training, coaching, and orientation to develop staff performance and ensure consistent service delivery.
• Manage departmental inventory by conducting monthly linen counts, inspecting supply closets, and securing lost and found items.
• Coordinate directly with the Front Desk and Maintenance departments to prioritize early arrivals, process room turnovers, and resolve repair needs promptly.
• Enforce strict adherence to safety, security, and “Do Not Disturb” protocols across all assigned resort floors.

Requirements, Skills & Traits

• Requirements: High School Diploma (EPB/MAVO minimum). At least 2 years of proven experience in Housekeeping Operations. Formal Supervisory Training completed. Dutch Passport or a valid work permit. Ability to understand and speak Papiamento and Spanish.

• Core Skills: Comprehensive knowledge of professional housekeeping standards and inventory management. Proficiency in multi-departmental coordination and shift logistics.

• Soft Skills: Strong leadership and motivational capabilities. Highly organized and detail-oriented. Effective problem-solving and communication skills.

Success Metrics

Consistently high scores on room inspection audits and guest satisfaction reports. Maintained efficiency in daily room turnover times and VIP preparations. Demonstrated success in team retention, training completion, and overall staff morale.
