Cleaning and preparing rooms, public areas and work spaces to set hygiene and presentation standards, including correct use of cleaning products, equipment and sanitation routines.
For candidates
Say how many rooms you clean per shift, and the room types (standard, suites, villas). If you have worked with specific cleaning chemicals, laundry or public areas, include it. Inspection or supervisor experience is worth naming separately.
For employers
Give the room quota and whether the role includes laundry, public areas or turndown. Those are the questions candidates ask first. For supervisor roles, ask how they would handle a room that failed inspection twice.
