Position Highlights
Turndown Room Attendant. In this essential role, you are responsible for preparing our guests’ private sanctuaries for a restful evening. Working the 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM shift, your core purpose is to deliver a meticulous turndown service that ensures every room is refreshed, welcoming, and perfectly staged, providing the final touch of hospitality that defines the Bucuti & Tara experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality turndown service in assigned guest rooms, ensuring a fresh and inviting atmosphere for evening return.
- Refresh guest linens, tidy living spaces, and restock amenities with a strong attention to detail and resort presentation standards.
- Interact with guests in a polite, friendly, and professional manner, assisting with questions or concerns promptly.
- Assist the housekeeping team with general refreshing of guest areas to maintain impeccable cleanliness throughout the property.
- Utilize basic technology and resort systems to track room status and manage daily shift assignments.
- Collaborate with the broader housekeeping and front office teams to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction.
- Maintain the security and privacy of guest rooms while performing duties independently or as part of a team.
Requirements, Skills & Traits
Requirements:
Previous experience in a similar role within a luxury hospitality environment is preferred. Proven experience in a customer service-oriented field. Full proficiency in English; knowledge of an additional European language is an asset. Flexibility to work the designated PM shift, including weekends and holidays.
Core Skills:
Exceptional room presentation and staging abilities. Proficiency in maintaining high cleanliness standards in a fast-paced environment. Basic technical literacy to support operational workflows.
Soft Skills:
Naturally friendly, outgoing, and enthusiastic personality. High level of professional reliability and the physical ability to perform active duties, including lifting and pushing moderate to heavy weight.
Success Metrics
Sustained high guest satisfaction ratings specifically related to turndown quality and room presentation. Demonstrated efficiency and punctuality in completing the turndown circuit for all assigned rooms within shift hours. Consistent adherence to resort safety, sustainability, and quality protocols.
