Position Highlights

Room Attendant. In this essential role, you are the heart of the guest experience, ensuring our accommodations remain clean, organized, and beautifully presented. Your core purpose is to maintain an impeccably comfortable environment where every visitor feels at home. By managing daily service with a calm, confident, and understated professional presence, you support the high standards of boutique hospitality that define the Amsterdam Manor experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean assigned guest rooms according to established resort and hygiene standards.
• Provide daily service, including making beds and replenishing guest amenities with precision.
• Address guest requests and resolve inquiries promptly with a helpful, solution-oriented approach.
• Conduct thorough inspections of room conditions and report maintenance issues directly to management.
• Ensure the safe and efficient use of cleaning equipment, chemicals, and supplies.
• Support sustainable hospitality goals by adhering to water and energy conservation protocols.
• Uphold the strict confidentiality and security of all guest rooms and personal belongings.
• Collaborate with the housekeeping team to manage cribs, rollaway beds, and laundry logistics.

Requirements, Skills & Traits

Requirements:

High school (EPB) degree or equivalent educational background. Physical stamina to work actively and comfortably throughout the shift. Flexibility to work varied hours, including mornings, weekends, and holidays as required. Previous housekeeping experience is preferred.

Core Skills:

Proficiency in standardized cleaning procedures and chemical safety. Basic customer service skills for international guest interaction. Knowledge of sustainable hospitality practices and energy conservation.

Soft Skills:

Strong attention to detail and reliable organizational skills. The ability to work collaboratively and efficiently within a supportive team environment.
