Position Highlights
Room Attendant (Temporary). In this temporary role, your core purpose is to keep guest rooms clean, comfortable and beautifully presented to Amsterdam Manor's standards. You will prepare rooms, replenish amenities and supplies, handle guest requests, report maintenance issues and support the resort's sustainability initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and prepare guest rooms to hotel standards
- Replace amenities and replenish supplies
- Report maintenance issues and lost and found items
- Handle guest requests professionally
- Support sustainability initiatives, including towel reuse and water conservation
- Work closely with the Housekeeping team to deliver outstanding guest experiences
Requirements, Skills & Traits
Requirements:
High school (EPB) diploma preferred. Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is an advantage. Physically able to perform cleaning duties throughout the shift. Flexible to work weekends, holidays and rotating schedules.
Core Skills:
Guest room cleaning and presentation. Amenity and supply replenishment. Sustainable housekeeping practices.
Soft Skills:
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Reliable, motivated and able to work independently, with excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Success Metrics
Rooms are clean, well presented and restocked on time, guest requests and maintenance issues are handled promptly, and sustainability practices are followed.
