Position Highlights
Night Cleaner. In this essential overnight role, you serve as a guardian of the resort’s first impression. Your core purpose is to perform deep cleaning and sanitization of our public areas, lobby, and dining outlets during low-traffic hours. By working with technical precision while the resort is quiet, you ensure that our guests wake up to an immaculate, welcoming environment every morning.
Key Responsibilities
- Deep clean and sanitize the lobby, reception area, and guest restrooms to boutique standards.
- Maintain all floor surfaces in high-traffic areas, including sweeping, mopping, and professional polishing.
- Clean and organize furniture and fixtures in public lounges, terraces, and the pool deck.
- Ensure all glass surfaces, mirrors, and windows are streak-free and polished.
- Manage waste and recycling removal from all public areas and administrative offices.
- Monitor and restock cleaning supplies, ensuring the safe and efficient use of chemical products.
- Identify and report any maintenance needs or safety hazards to the overnight security or engineering teams.
- Assist with the set-up of common areas for morning operations to ensure a seamless transition for guest service.
Requirements, Skills & Traits
Requirements:
Previous experience in professional housekeeping or industrial cleaning is preferred. Physical stamina to perform manual labor and remain active throughout an overnight shift. Flexibility to work varied schedules, including weekends and holidays.
Core Skills:
Knowledge of professional cleaning agents and the safe operation of floor-care machinery. High level of attention to detail and organizational skill.
Soft Skills:
Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision. A proactive, solution-oriented mindset and a commitment to maintaining a quiet, professional presence overnight.
Success Metrics
Demonstrated consistency in high cleanliness scores during morning supervisor inspections. Efficient completion of the nightly deep-cleaning checklist. Minimal guest or staff feedback regarding untidy public spaces.
