Tracking, counting, ordering and rotating stock (such as FIFO) so the right items are available without shortages, waste or loss.
For candidates
Say what you managed (food and beverage, retail stock, spare parts, linen), the system and the methods you used, such as FIFO, cycle counts or par levels. Results, such as reduced waste or fewer stock-outs, are strong evidence.
For employers
Name the stock type and system. Ask how the candidate would deal with a count that does not match the system.
