Position Highlights
Food & Beverage Manager. As a strategic and hands-on operational leader, your core purpose is to own the performance of every culinary and beverage outlet, from restaurants and bars to banquets and events. You will drive operational excellence, financial results, and team development while ensuring each outlet consistently reflects the highly personalized service that defines Amsterdam Manor.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all restaurant, bar, banquet, and event operations to ensure seamless daily performance
- Develop, mentor, and coach department leaders and Food and Beverage teams
- Drive revenue growth, maintain high guest satisfaction, and uphold operational excellence
- Manage departmental budgets, accurate forecasting, inventory control, and labor costs
- Collaborate strategically with the Sales and Marketing team on promotions and special events
- Champion rigorous food safety, sustainability practices, and exceptional service quality standards
Requirements, Skills & Traits
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Business, or a related field is required. Must possess a minimum of 5 years of Food and Beverage management experience, preferably within a hotel or luxury resort environment. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays is essential to support operational needs.
Core Skills:
Proven leadership experience managing multi-outlet operations. Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost-control skills. Proficient in hospitality technology, specifically Microsoft Office, POS systems (ALOHA or equivalent), inventory systems (Yellow Dog), and associated reporting tools. Fluent in English and Spanish, while knowledge of Dutch and/or Papiamento is considered a distinct advantage.
Soft Skills:
Excellent leadership, coaching, and clear communication abilities. A solutions-oriented professional who remains composed and effective while managing complex, high-volume operations.
Success Metrics
Revenue targets, budgets, and cost-control measures are consistently met or exceeded. Department leaders and team members demonstrate measurable professional growth and accountability. All food and beverage outlets operate smoothly, delivering high guest satisfaction scores while strictly adhering to safety and sustainability standards.
