Position Highlights
Food & Beverage Coordinator. In this versatile and essential role, you serve as the administrative and operational backbone of the Food & Beverage department. Your core purpose is to harmonize departmental logistics—from payroll and event coordination to menu calibration and guest-facing support. By balancing organizational precision with a welcoming presence, you ensure that our service and culinary teams operate with seamless efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily administration for the F&B department, including Timeclock management and payroll-related follow-ups.
- Manage the organization and execution of resort events, ensuring a professional and structured delivery.
- Facilitate clear communication between the service and culinary teams to uphold our high quality standards.
- Support the department through meticulous tracking and control of purchases and equipment inventory.
- Perform bi-weekly menu calibrations and general administrative tasks to maintain operational accuracy.
- Step into operational roles, such as hostess, to provide high-level guest support when required.
- Identify and resolve guest inquiries with a solution-oriented and optimistic approach.
Requirements, Skills & Traits
Requirements:
High School diploma or GED; an Associate degree is considered a plus. Proven experience in a similar administrative or guest service role within the hospitality sector. Ability to work flexible shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. A valid Health Certificate is preferred.
Core Skills:
Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of other European languages or Papiamento is an asset. Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office and general administrative software.
Soft Skills:
An organized multi-tasker with a strong attention to detail. Polite, confident, and patient, with a natural inclination toward providing extraordinary guest experiences.
Success Metrics
Excellence in this role is defined by the accuracy and timeliness of departmental payroll and administrative reporting. Success is demonstrated through the seamless coordination of resort events and the maintenance of precise inventory and cost controls. High guest satisfaction scores during hostess interactions and the ability to maintain “quiet authority” during peak operational periods are key indicators of professional success.
