Position Highlights
Bartender. Serving guests at the bar and pool area, your core purpose is to prepare beverages to recipe and create a welcoming atmosphere through friendly, attentive and professional service. Your attention to detail supports smooth food and beverage operations and a memorable guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards
- Provide friendly, attentive and professional service to guests at the bar and pool area
- Take orders accurately and process payments correctly
- Keep the bar clean, organized and well stocked
- Comply with all hygiene, food safety and workplace safety standards
- Assist guests with menu recommendations and respond professionally to requests
- Work closely with the Food & Beverage team to ensure efficient service
Requirements, Skills & Traits
Requirements:
EPI hospitality degree and certified mixologist training required. Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in the hospitality industry. Fluent in English, Dutch, Spanish and Papiamento. Neat and professional appearance. Flexible with working hours.
Core Skills:
Beverage preparation to recipe and mixology. Order taking and payment processing. Bar organization and stock. Hygiene and food safety standards.
Soft Skills:
Strong understanding of guest service needs. Friendly, polite team player who stays positive under pressure and follows instructions.
Success Metrics
Drinks are consistent and served promptly, payments are accurate, the bar is always clean and stocked, and guests enjoy a welcoming, memorable experience.
