About this skill
Preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, setting up and closing the bar, keeping stock and hygiene in order, and serving alcohol responsibly.
For candidates
Name the settings you have worked in (pool bar, lobby bar, nightclub, banquet bar) and what you can make without a recipe card. Numbers help: covers per shift, the size of the cocktail menu you ran, stock counts you were responsible for.
Bar work in Aruba is food and beverage (F&B) work, so you need a valid health certificate. Mention it on your profile, with its expiry date.
For employers
Say what the bar is like: volume, cocktail or beer-and-wine, cash or tab, solo or with a barback. That tells candidates more than "experienced bartender". Ask for a valid health certificate or say you will arrange it.
The quickest check is practical: ask candidates to make two drinks from your menu and close a tab during the interview.
How matching works
Matching is most reliable when both the profile and job listing use this same skill and any expected proficiency is set accurately.
