Position Highlights

Retail Operations Assistant (Part-Time). In this dual-function administrative and customer-facing role, you serve as the organizational core of our retail operations. Your core purpose is to maintain meticulous inventory records and provide professional service to members and guests. By managing merchandise flow and supporting shop operations with quiet authority, you ensure a stable and premium retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct monthly physical inventory counts and maintain accurate operating inventory records.
• Monitor stock levels, track fast- and slow-moving items to optimize stock, and initiate timely restocking.
• Investigate and report any inventory discrepancies while maintaining organized vendor and inventory records.
• Receive and inspect incoming shipments , verify merchandise against purchase orders and invoices , and coordinate with management regarding shortages or damaged goods.
• Tag, label, and enter new items into the inventory system while ensuring accurate documentation of all received merchandise.
• Maintain an organized stockroom and display areas and assist with pricing updates and merchandise markdowns.
• Maintain and update member accounts , support member promotions and loyalty initiatives , and ensure accurate member-related documentation.
• Provide friendly and professional service to members and guests and assist with maintaining visual merchandising standards.
• Support tournaments, club events, and promotional activities while managing multiple tasks within a part-time schedule.
• Support cost control by monitoring stock levels and shrinkage and assist management with operational planning.

Requirements, Skills & Traits

Requirements:

MAVO or MBO think- and work level. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position , with previous retail or inventory experience preferred. Must hold a Dutch passport or a valid work permit.

Core Skills:

Proficient in POS and inventory systems with excellent computer skills. Fluent in English, Spanish, Dutch, and Papiamento.

Soft Skills:

Strong organizational and administrative skills. Detail-oriented and customer-oriented with excellent communication skills.

Excellence in this role is demonstrated by the precision of inventory tracking and the seamless receipt of new merchandise. Success is measured by the reduction of inventory discrepancies , effective cost control through shrinkage monitoring , and the consistent delivery of professional customer service to our members and guests.
