Position Highlights

Mixologist. Behind the bar, your core purpose is to craft drinks that are consistent, creative and memorable, and to help build the resort's beverage program. You will prepare classic and signature cocktails to standard, engage guests with recommendations, manage bar inventory, handle payments and train junior bar staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in line with hotel standards and recipes
• Create innovative and signature cocktails that enhance the guest experience and support the beverage program
• Ensure consistency in drink quality, presentation and portioning at all times
• Provide personalized, engaging service by taking orders and making recommendations
• Keep the bar area and equipment clean, organized and properly set up
• Monitor bar inventory, including ordering, stocking and minimizing waste, and keep ingredients, garnishes and supplies fresh and correctly stored
• Handle cash, process payments and ensure accurate billing
• Train and support junior bar staff on drink preparation and service standards
• Stay updated on beverage trends, new products and mixology techniques, and work with the F&B team to promote bar offerings

Requirements, Skills & Traits

Requirements:

High school diploma required. Certification or formal training in bartending or mixology. 2–3 years of experience in a bartending or mixology role in a hotel or hospitality environment. Food safety and hygiene certification. English is a must. Must have a valid Health Card. Must hold a Dutch passport or a valid work permit.

Core Skills:

Proven craft cocktail preparation and bar operations. Strong knowledge of spirits, wines, cocktail recipes, mixology techniques and flavor profiles. Knowledge of bar equipment and tools. Basic computer knowledge.

Soft Skills:

Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and consistency, with creativity and passion for mixology and beverage trends.

Success Metrics

Drinks are consistent in quality and presentation, signature cocktails strengthen the bar program, inventory is controlled with minimal waste, billing is accurate, and junior staff are well trained.
