Position Highlights

Mixologist. As a passionate and creative Mixologist, your core purpose is to elevate the Divi Resorts guest experience by preparing and serving a wide range of beverages to strict hotel standards. You will lead bar operations, create signature cocktails, and support junior staff while ensuring impeccable drink consistency and quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve diverse alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to hotel recipes and standards
• Formulate innovative signature cocktails that support the beverage program and enhance guest experiences
• Ensure absolute consistency in drink presentation, portioning, and quality
• Interact with guests to provide personalized service, take orders, and offer expert recommendations
• Maintain the organization, cleanliness, and proper setup of all bar areas and equipment
• Monitor bar inventory, execute ordering and stocking, and actively minimize waste
• Guarantee all supplies, garnishes, and ingredients are stored correctly and remain fresh
• Process payments accurately, handle cash, and manage billing
• Train and support junior bar staff on service standards and drink preparation
• Collaborate with the broader F&B team to promote offerings and study new beverage trends and mixology techniques

Requirements, Skills & Traits

Requirements:

A High School Diploma and formal certification or training in Bartending or Mixology are required. Must possess 2 to 3 years of mixology or bartending experience within a hotel or hospitality environment. Requires a Food Safety and Hygiene Certification, a valid Health Card, and a Dutch passport or valid work permit.

Core Skills:

Proven expertise in craft cocktail preparation and bar operations. Deep knowledge of spirits, wines, flavor profiles, mixology techniques, and bar equipment. Fluency in English and basic computer knowledge are essential.

Soft Skills:

Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a creative passion for mixology.

Success Metrics

Signature cocktails and standard beverages are consistently delivered with exact quality and presentation. Bar inventory is precisely maintained with minimal waste. Guest interactions remain highly engaging and personalized, elevating overall beverage program satisfaction.
