Position Highlights
Golf Cart Attendant. Supporting golf operations, your core purpose is to give members and guests a warm welcome and a well-prepared cart and range. You will clean, fuel, inspect and rotate the golf carts, recover and wash range balls, keep the cart and range areas neat, and assist the golf shop with tournaments and player traffic.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet and greet members and their guests in a warm, friendly and professional manner
- Run daily ball recovery using mechanical and hand equipment, and wash golf balls to keep them clean and usable
- Collect, organize and clean the baskets used for ball transportation
- Follow procedures for opening and closing the cart and golf operations
- Inspect golf carts for cleanliness and appearance, and take responsibility for cart supplies, condition, fueling and fleet rotation
- Keep outside areas neat and clean, arranging carts so they never block the passage
- Assist golf shop personnel with tournament cart set-up and range operations
- Maintain order and continuity of player traffic
- Track and report supply needs for daily operations
- Refer major problems and complaints to a manager or supervisor
Requirements, Skills & Traits
Requirements:
EPB or MAVO diploma. Experience preferred but not required. Must have a driver's license. Fluent in English, Spanish and Dutch. Able to work different shifts. Must hold a Dutch passport or a valid work permit.
Core Skills:
Golf cart cleaning, fueling, inspection and fleet rotation. Range ball recovery and washing. Great computer skills.
Soft Skills:
Service oriented, warm and professional with members and guests. Dependable and flexible across shifts.
Success Metrics
Carts are clean, fueled, stocked and rotated, the range always has clean balls, cart areas are orderly, and members and guests are welcomed warmly.
