Position Highlights

Sales Assistant. In this proactive and commercially driven role based in Noord, you serve as the critical bridge between guest interest and the ultimate island adventure. Your core purpose is to drive our commercial efforts by handling inquiries across multiple channels and guiding guests to the perfect activity for their vacation. You ensure professional stability and genuine warmth in every interaction, coordinating closely with our beach-front teams to ensure a seamless transition from sale to activity.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle guest inquiries across multiple channels, including phone, WhatsApp, and email.
• Guide guests through our portfolio of 15+ activities to find the best fit for their vacation needs.
• Manage lead follow-ups and process activity bookings with high accuracy.
• Coordinate closely with the beach-front team at the Hyatt Regency to ensure seamless activity execution.
• Provide expert product advice and articulate the value of our premium experiences with “quiet authority.”
• Maintain organized guest records and manage booking schedules effectively.
• Identify opportunities to enhance guest itineraries through personalized recommendations.

Requirements, Skills & Traits

Requirements:

Proven experience in a sales or customer-facing role, preferably within the tourism sector. Full fluency in English, Dutch, and Spanish (speaking and writing). Flexibility to work on weekends and holidays and availability to be on call after office hours.

Core Skills:

Intermediate computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and web-based applications. Strong time management and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Experience with tourism booking engines or CRM software is a significant advantage.

Soft Skills:

A natural flair for sales and exceptional interpersonal skills. A patient, solution-oriented attitude with a proactive mindset focused on team goals.

Success in this role is measured by the accurate processing of bookings and the achievement of team sales targets. You demonstrate excellence through high guest satisfaction ratings and the seamless coordination of activities between the back-office and frontline teams. A high-performing Sales Assistant identifies creative ways to improve guest itineraries while maintaining the professional reliability and warmth of the Delphi brand.
