Position Highlights

F&B Beach Server. Serving guests where they relax most, your core purpose is to bring food and drinks to the beach promptly, accurately and with a warm, attentive manner. You will greet guests, recommend and upsell, take and deliver orders, handle payments through the POS, keep your station stocked and clean and work closely with the bar and kitchen.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and warmly as they arrive in the beach area
• Present menus, make recommendations and answer questions about F&B offerings
• Take accurate orders and ensure timely delivery of food and drinks that meet quality, presentation and temperature standards
• Provide attentive follow-up service, anticipating guest needs without being intrusive, and upsell beverages, specials and enhancements
• Handle guest concerns professionally and promptly, involving a supervisor when necessary
• Set up, stock and break down service stations daily, keep service areas clean and organized, and clear plates, cutlery and glassware
• Process payments accurately through the POS system
• Comply with all resort and local health and safety regulations, and report unsafe conditions or incidents immediately
• Communicate with bartenders, kitchen staff and supervisors, and assist teammates during peak periods
• Attend pre-shift briefings and required trainings

Requirements, Skills & Traits

Requirements:

Completed EPB or MAVO; EPI is a plus. Previous experience as a server or in a similar F&B role. Minimum age 18. Fluent in English, Spanish, Dutch and Papiamento. Must have a valid Health Card. Must hold a Dutch passport or a valid work permit.

Core Skills:

Food and beverage table service and upselling. Knowledge of POS systems. Basic knowledge of cocktails and beverage preparation. Service station set-up and upkeep.

Soft Skills:

Warm, attentive and professional with guests. Team player who communicates well and supports colleagues during busy periods.

Success Metrics

Beach guests are served promptly and accurately, orders arrive at the right quality and temperature, payments balance, and service stations stay stocked and clean.
