Position Highlights

Towel Hut Attendant. At the Towel Hut and Activities Center, your core purpose is to give guests a smooth, friendly start to their pool and beach day. You will prepare towels, floats and equipment, manage activity sign-ups and the Activity Board, answer guest questions, keep the hut clean and organized and track daily and monthly inventories.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately post all daily activities on the lobby Activity Board
• Prepare and inspect towels, floats and equipment before opening, and open and close the Towel Hut at designated times
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries and requests, and thank departing guests courteously
• Keep the Towel Hut and Activities Center clean, organized and well maintained, emptying and cleaning trash bins daily
• Verify that towel cards are available and correctly organized
• Oversee sign-up procedures for games, activities and equipment use
• Collect and manage supplies as requisitioned from the supervisor, and make copies of documents as needed
• Store floats properly, never leaving them standing by the door
• Maintain an accurate daily float inventory and conduct the monthly towel inventory
• Attend scheduled departmental meetings, and know the property layout and emergency procedures

Requirements, Skills & Traits

Requirements:

EPB high school diploma or equivalent. Minimum age 18. Fluent in English, Spanish and Dutch. Able to work different shifts. Must hold a Dutch passport or a valid work permit.

Core Skills:

Towel and equipment service. Activity sign-up and Activity Board management. Daily float and monthly towel inventory.

Soft Skills:

Service oriented with a pleasant personality. Organized, courteous and dependable across shifts.

Success Metrics

The Towel Hut opens and closes on time, towels, floats and equipment are ready and accounted for, the Activity Board is accurate, and guests are served promptly and courteously.
