Position Highlights

IT Technician. Keeping the resort's technology running, your core purpose is to give colleagues fast, reliable IT support and keep systems secure and up to date. You will diagnose and repair hardware and software problems, support users, install and test new systems, recommend upgrades, help maintain the Electronic Use Policy and work on call as scheduled.

Key Responsibilities

• Investigate, analyze and resolve hardware problems on computer systems, performing repairs, maintenance and technical support
• Provide technical assistance to computer users, maintaining a high standard of customer service
• Troubleshoot and resolve system communication failures and conflicts
• Evaluate existing hardware and submit upgrade recommendations to management
• Install, integrate, customize and test new systems and hardware
• Provide guidance and maintenance support to end users on software applications, operating systems and hardware
• Keep a broad, current knowledge of computer technology and take part in professional development
• Work on an on-call basis as scheduled
• Help set and maintain the Electronic Use Policy and other information security measures
• Use company reporting and tracking tools as required

Requirements, Skills & Traits

Requirements:

EPI diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position. Fluent in English, Spanish and Dutch. Able to work on call as needed. Must hold a Dutch passport or a valid work permit.

Core Skills:

Knowledge of computer systems, software, hardware, applications and networks. Installing and configuring systems, hardware and peripherals. Diagnosing and fixing a wide range of hardware and software problems. Great computer skills.

Soft Skills:

Service oriented and patient with users. Dependable and available when on call.

Success Metrics

Users receive fast, effective support, hardware and software problems are resolved promptly, new systems are installed and tested correctly, and information security policies are maintained.
