Position Highlights

As a Security Guard, you serve as the guardian of our resort’s serenity and safety. Your core purpose is to maintain a secure environment for our guests and staff, ensuring that our property remains a tranquil haven through professional vigilance and proactive protection.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute continuous patrols of resort grounds and facilities to identify and mitigate potential safety hazards or policy violations.
• Monitor CCTV systems and control property access points to prevent unauthorized entry and maintain perimeter integrity.
• Serve as a first responder to guest and employee concerns, providing professional assistance and resolving security situations with “quiet authority.”
• Coordinate emergency response efforts, including medical incidents and evacuations, to ensure the well-being of all individuals on-site.
• Prepare precise and detailed shift reports and incident documentation to maintain accurate administrative records.
• Enforce resort regulations with a courteous and respectful approach, balancing firm security protocols with high-quality guest service.

Requirements, Skills & Traits

• Requirements: Minimum education level of MAVO / EPB or equivalent. Must be of Dutch nationality or possess a valid work permit. Minimum 2 years of experience in security or a related protective field. First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to complete training immediately). Must be between the ages of 25 and 45 and in good physical condition.

• Core Skills: Multilingual fluency in English, Spanish, and Papiamento. Proficiency in surveillance monitoring and emergency response protocols. Strong report-writing and administrative documentation skills.

• Soft Skills: High level of professional integrity and discretion. Attentive and alert mindset. Exceptional interpersonal skills with a service-oriented demeanor.

Success Metrics

Zero unauthorized access incidents during assigned shifts. 100% compliance with patrol schedules and safety check protocols. Consistently high-quality and accurate incident reporting with zero documentation errors.
