Position Highlights

General Cashier. As a meticulous and reliable financial professional, your core purpose is to securely manage and process daily cash operations. You will handle cash transactions, prepare bank deposits, and ensure all cash reports and internal ledgers are accurately reconciled to maintain the resort’s financial integrity.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle cash and cash-related transactions, issue receipts, and balance the cash fund accurately
• Record and type money lists, enter cash transactions in ledgers, and reconcile cash reports
• Prepare secure and timely bank deposits
• Reconcile various expenditure reports and distribute or file relevant financial documents
• Complete all daily General Cashier tasks and any other reasonable duties assigned by the Financial Controller or Assistant Financial Controller
• Familiarize yourself with the property’s fire and emergency program

Requirements, Skills & Traits

Requirements:

An EPI Administration diploma or equivalent is required. A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar position is essential. Candidates must possess a Dutch passport or a valid work permit.

Core Skills:

Fluency in English, Spanish, Dutch, and Papiamento is required. Good computer skills and a strong, demonstrated knowledge of cash management procedures are necessary to succeed in this role.

Soft Skills:

Good communication skills and a highly meticulous approach to daily tasks and financial accuracy.

Success Metrics

Cash funds are precisely balanced, and bank deposits are prepared efficiently and securely. Cash reports and ledgers are reconciled with meticulous attention to detail, supporting the seamless daily financial operations of the resort.
