Position Highlights

Assistant Operations Manager. In this essential leadership role based in Noord, you serve as a critical pillar for our daily logistical and supervisory functions. Your core purpose is to strengthen our operational flow, coordinating between the back-office and our beach-front locations to ensure all equipment and team members are prepared for peak performance. You provide the high-level internal communication necessary to maintain a seamless and safe environment across our diverse range of 15+ activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and optimize daily tour schedules to ensure maximum operational efficiency.
• Supervise the operational flow between the back-office and the Hyatt Regency beach location.
• Ensure all equipment is maintained and team members are prepared for daily operations.
• Provide critical support to the Operations Manager in high-level logistical planning.
• Maintain clear and consistent internal communication to provide operational overviews.
• Monitor safety protocols and equipment readiness across all land and water activities.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance guest experiences and team performance.
• Manage complex logistics with a patient, solution-oriented, and positive attitude.

Requirements, Skills & Traits

Requirements:

Proven leadership or supervisory experience within the tourism or hospitality sector. Full fluency in English, Dutch, and Spanish (speaking and writing). Availability to work on weekends and holidays, including being on call after office hours.

Core Skills:

Exceptional time management and prioritization skills. Intermediate computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and reservation systems. Technical knowledge of watersports equipment and maintenance schedules (Pro).

Soft Skills:

Motivated professional with a “quiet authority.” Solution-oriented leader capable of managing complex logistics under pressure. Strong team-player mentality.
