Position Highlights
Housekeeping Supervisor. In this leadership role, you serve as a key figure in ensuring the impeccable presentation of our guestrooms and public spaces. By managing and motivating your team with quiet authority and professional enthusiasm, you ensure that high standards of cleanliness, cost control, and operational stability are consistently met, contributing to a world-class environment for our guests at Eagle Beach.
Key Responsibilities
- Motivate, guide, and mentor housekeeping teammates to foster professional development and peak performance.
- Deliver and execute strategic plans and objectives to consistently meet department targets.
- Monitor inventory and ensure departmental costs are strictly controlled and accounted for.
- Identify creative solutions to optimize and improve departmental procedures and workflows.
- Navigate and utilize various software systems to manage daily operations efficiently.
- Perform physical tasks required of the role, including the ability to pull, lift, and push moderate to heavy weight.
Requirements, Skills & Traits
Requirements:
Previous experience in housekeeping and customer service is considered a strong advantage. Flexibility to work rotating shifts (AM/PM), weekends, and holidays is essential.
Core Skills:
Proficiency in all four languages (English, Spanish, Dutch, and Papiamento). Strong supervisory and managerial skills with a lead-by-example approach. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Tech-savvy with the ability to navigate various operational software systems.
Soft Skills:
Impeccable attention to detail and a natural, solution-oriented problem-solving mindset. Ability to work efficiently both independently and within a fast-paced team environment.
Success Metrics
Excellence in this role is demonstrated by the consistent delivery of high-quality room presentations and the successful motivation of the housekeeping team. Success is measured by your ability to control inventory efficiently, improve operational procedures, and exceed guest expectations within a tranquil, professional environment.
