Position Highlights

Engineering Administrator (Part-Time, Temporary). In this essential support role, you serve as the administrative backbone of the Engineering and Maintenance department. Your core purpose is to coordinate the technical workflows and documentation required to maintain our resort’s pristine condition and operational excellence. By managing work orders and departmental reporting with precision and “quiet authority,” you enable our technical team to focus on proactive facility care and sustainable resort management.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and track daily work orders using the resort’s maintenance management software.
• Maintain organized departmental records, including service contracts, warranties, and technical documentation.
• Support the Engineering Manager with administrative tasks, including scheduling, correspondence, and report preparation.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels for maintenance supplies and equipment, ensuring accurate stock control.
• Facilitate clear communication between the Engineering department and other resort areas, such as Housekeeping and the Front Office.
• Assist in documenting sustainability initiatives and energy-saving metrics in alignment with EarthCheck standards.
• Resolve administrative inquiries with a solution-oriented and professional approach.

Requirements, Skills & Traits

Requirements:

High School diploma or GED; previous experience in an administrative or technical support role is preferred. This is a part-time, temporary position requiring a professional who can commit to a structured schedule.

Core Skills:

Proficiency in English (written and oral) is essential for technical reporting. Tech-savvy with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.

Soft Skills:

Highly organized with a strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment. Professional, reliable, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
