Position Overview
First impressions mean everything in hospitality. As a Public Area Attendant, you are essential to creating that flawless initial experience for every person who walks onto our property. You ensure that our lobbies, walkways, pool decks, and shared spaces remain pristine, welcoming, and beautifully presented throughout the day.
This role is highly visible and deeply appreciated. You will move throughout the resort, catching details others might miss, and greeting guests with the genuine warmth Aruba is known for.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the immaculate cleanliness and presentation of all public areas, including lobbies, restrooms, corridors, and outdoor spaces.
- Empty trash receptacles and ensure the proper disposal of waste and recyclables, strictly following our environmental guidelines.
- Respond promptly to guest requests, accidental spills, or specific cleaning needs across the resort grounds.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards directly to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
- Greet guests warmly as you move through the property, embodying our standard of exceptional hospitality.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment, chemicals, and supplies are used safely and stored correctly at the end of your shift.
Requirements & Qualifications
- High school (EPB) degree or equivalent educational background.
- Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience is highly preferred.
- A keen, natural eye for detail and a proactive approach to maintaining a spotless environment.
- The physical stamina required to work actively and comfortably throughout your shift.
- A friendly, approachable demeanor and basic customer service skills to interact pleasantly with our international guests.
- The ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with the wider housekeeping and maintenance teams.
