Chef de Partie. As a vital leader within our culinary team, you take full ownership of a specific section of the kitchen. Your core purpose is to ensure that every dish leaving your station meets our exacting standards of quality, flavor, and presentation, while mentoring junior staff and maintaining a seamless operational flow during high-pressure service periods.
Degree or diploma from a recognized culinary school. Minimum of 3–5 years of progressive experience in a high-volume, professional kitchen environment. Full fluency in English; knowledge of Dutch, Spanish, or Papiamento is an asset. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Mastery of professional cooking techniques, station management, and knife skills. Comprehensive knowledge of food safety (HACCP) protocols and inventory control.
Strong leadership and mentoring abilities. A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to maintain composure and quality in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated consistency in food quality and plating aesthetics for all station outputs. Maintained food cost targets through effective waste management and portion control. Positive feedback from the Executive Chef regarding station leadership and team development. Consistent adherence to all health and safety audit requirements.
