Position Highlights

Storeroom Clerk. As the keeper of the resort’s supplies, your core purpose is to make sure every department has what it needs, stored correctly and accounted for accurately. You will receive and inspect deliveries, fulfill approved requisitions, manage stock rotation and inventory records, and keep storerooms and refrigeration units clean, organized, and secure.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and store food, beverage, and operational supplies according to company standards and procedures
• Process and fulfill approved requisitions while maintaining accurate inventory records
• Ensure proper stock rotation, labeling, dating, and storage of all products, including food, beverages, dairy, meat, produce, and dry goods
• Organize and maintain storerooms, refrigeration units, and supply areas for efficiency and compliance with safety standards
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with monthly inventory counts and stock audits
• Maintain accurate bin cards and inventory documentation
• Store linens, guest supplies, cleaning products, paper goods, and operating equipment in designated locations
• Follow food safety, sanitation, loss prevention, and storage procedures at all times
• Keep storage areas clean, organized, and secure, including daily and weekly cleaning tasks
• Support departmental operations by ensuring supplies are readily available and properly distributed
• Adhere to company safety procedures and emergency response guidelines

Requirements, Skills & Traits

Requirements:

High school diploma required; MBO diploma preferred. Previous storeroom, warehouse, inventory, or hospitality experience is preferred. Must have a valid driver’s license. Fluency in English, Papiamento, Spanish, and Dutch. Good physical condition, with the ability to lift, carry, and move inventory as required. Must possess a valid Health Card. Must hold a Dutch passport or a valid Aruban work permit.

Core Skills:

Receiving, inspection, and storage of food, beverage, and operational supplies. Inventory management, stock rotation, and requisition processing. Bin cards, inventory records, and stock audits. Strong computer skills.

Soft Skills:

Organized, detail-oriented, and committed to accuracy. Able to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication skills and pride in keeping a clean, safe, and efficient work area.

Success Metrics

Inventory records, bin cards, and monthly counts match the physical stock. Requisitions are fulfilled accurately and on time, so departments are never left without supplies. Products are rotated, labeled, and stored correctly, with storerooms and refrigeration units kept clean, organized, and secure.
