Position Highlights

Activities Supervisor. In this central leadership role, you serve as a key resource for resort recreation and guest engagement. Your core purpose is to guide and mentor the activities team while maintaining a calm, confident, and understated professional presence. By ensuring seamless daily programming, meticulous equipment maintenance, and a proactive approach to guest safety, you directly contribute to the vibrant and stable environment that defines the Divi Resorts experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and conduct all employee training programs, including new employee orientation.
• Monitor and evaluate staff performance, providing fair and equal coaching and counseling when needed.
• Ensure all employees are trained in and adhere to established hotel standards of performance, rules, and regulations.
• Check that all departmental workstations are organized and maintain equipment in optimal condition.
• Identify maintenance problems within the department and issue work orders for timely resolution.
• Manage payroll documentation for every employee within each pay period.
• Promptly handle guest or employee accidents and injuries according to hotel procedures.
• Monitor for undesirable visitors and report suspicious activity to security immediately to ensure a safe environment.
• Solicit guest feedback and maintain a high level of floating/socializing with guests to ensure satisfaction.

Requirements, Skills & Traits

Requirements:

MAVO or equivalent educational background with at least 2 years of experience in a similar supervisory position. Must hold a Dutch passport or a valid work permit.

Core Skills:

Full fluency in English, Spanish, and Dutch. Proficiency with Microsoft 365 for administrative and payroll tasks.

Soft Skills:

Great communication skills and an outgoing, professional personality. A service-oriented approach with the ability to maintain composure and authority while leading a team.
