Responsibilities

Monitor staff attendance daily.
Review activities and check staffing requirements.
Schedule staff assignments and ensure that all employees are complying with their duties by monitoring them throughout shift.
Review hotel occupancy report and group activities.
Conduct/attend meetings as scheduled.
Ensure staff adhere to all hotel rules and regulations.
Check that workstations are organized.
Follow up on equipment maintenance.
Write out work orders for any maintenance problems within the department.
Make necessary payroll documentation for every employee and pay period.
Follow up that there are no undesirable visitors in your department, report suspicious people to security at once.
Handle all guest/employee accidents and injuries promptly according to hotel procedures.
Conduct and coordinate all employee training programs.
Responsible to conduct new employee orientation.
Ensure all employees are trained and adhere to hotel standards of performance.
Monitor and evaluate staff performance.
Coach and counsel employees when needed and always with fair and equal treatment.
Accept/inquire for employee feedback and follow up on them at all times.
In case of absence of a subordinate assume their responsibility for the period of their absence.
