Position Highlights

Public Area Attendant. In this essential role, you serve as a key contributor to the guest’s first impression of our resort. Your core purpose is to ensure all lobbies, restrooms, walkways, and shared facilities remain pristine and beautifully presented. By managing these high-traffic environments with quiet authority and a focus on operational stability, you support the overall resort aesthetic and contribute directly to the comfort and satisfaction of our international clientele.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the immaculate cleanliness of lobby areas, public restrooms, and shared office spaces.
• Ensure all furniture, wall ornaments, and fixtures are free of dust, streaks, and debris.
• Clean and disinfect toilets, urinals, and vanity areas while replenishing essential supplies.
• Perform floor maintenance including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and specialized stripping or buffing.
• Manage trash receptacles and ash urns across public areas and resort grounds, including sports facilities.
• Clean and maintain windows, mirrors, door frames, and ceiling fans according to resort standards.
• Conduct daily care for indoor plants and planters to sustain the tropical ambiance.
• Properly store, clean, and restock janitorial equipment and supplies at the end of each shift.

Requirements, Skills & Traits

Requirements:

EPB Diploma is preferred but not required. Candidates must possess a Dutch Passport or a valid work permit for Aruba. Physical stamina is required to manage active shifts and handle cleaning machinery.

Core Skills:

Proficiency in professional cleaning techniques and floor care. Ability to understand and speak Papiamento, with some English proficiency preferred. Strong organizational skills for supply management and task prioritization.

Soft Skills:

Friendly personality with an organized and proactive mindset. Ability to work independently while maintaining a collaborative, professional approach to guest service.

Success is measured by your adherence to safety and hygiene protocols, the efficient completion of daily assignment sheets, and your ability to maintain a steady, disciplined workflow that enhances the guest experience.
