About this skill
Installing, servicing and repairing air-conditioning, ventilation and refrigeration systems to keep them efficient and reliable.
For candidates
Say which systems: split units, chillers, cold rooms, kitchen refrigeration, ventilation. List certificates, such as a refrigerant handling certificate (for example US EPA Section 608) and any brand training. In Aruba's climate, hotels, offices and homes rely on air-conditioning all year.
For employers
Describe the systems and the size of the site, and whether the role includes on-call duty. A practical fault-finding test on a unit is the best check.
How matching works
Matching is most reliable when both the profile and job listing use this same skill and any expected proficiency is set accurately.
