Position Highlights
Maintenance Technician. As part of the Maintenance team, your core purpose is to keep the resort in immaculate shape, including guestrooms, public areas and F&B areas. You will bring hands-on trade skills and a customer-focused, solution-oriented approach to the resort's day-to-day maintenance needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain guestrooms, public areas and F&B areas to the resort's immaculate standards
- Carry out HVAC, electrical, mechanical, carpentry and plumbing maintenance and repairs
- Solve maintenance issues with a customer-focused, solution-oriented approach
- Work independently and as part of the Maintenance team in a fast-paced environment
Requirements, Skills & Traits
Requirements:
Prior relevant work experience required; hotel operations experience is a plus. HVAC, electrical, mechanical, carpentry and/or plumbing experience required. Degree in Maintenance/Engineering or a relevant field. Proficiency in English; Papiamento, Dutch and Spanish are a plus. Flexible to work AM/PM shifts, weekends and holidays. Pre-employment drug screening applies.
Core Skills:
HVAC, electrical, mechanical, carpentry and plumbing skills. Troubleshooting and repair. Tech-savvy. Customer service experience preferred.
Soft Skills:
Friendly, polite and confident, with patience and excellent communication. Strong attention to detail and able to work under pressure.
Success Metrics
Maintenance issues are resolved promptly and correctly, guestrooms and public areas stay in immaculate condition, and guests experience courteous, helpful service.
