Position Highlights
Maintenance Technician. As part of the maintenance team, your core purpose is to keep the resort's facilities, equipment and systems well maintained, safe and fully operational. You will carry out a variety of maintenance and repair tasks and troubleshoot issues across the property, helping create a comfortable environment for guests and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of maintenance and repair tasks across the hotel property
- Ensure facilities, equipment and systems are well maintained, safe and fully operational
- Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues in all areas of the hotel
- Maintain a comfortable and inviting environment for guests and staff through efficient service
Requirements, Skills & Traits
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in maintenance or a related field is preferred. Previous experience in maintenance or a similar role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment. Must speak and understand English, Dutch, Spanish and Papiamento. Flexible to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
Core Skills:
Basic knowledge of maintenance practices and systems, such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC and carpentry. Troubleshooting and repair.
Soft Skills:
Proactive and able to work independently and as part of a team.
Success Metrics
Facilities, equipment and systems stay safe and operational, maintenance issues are resolved promptly, and guests and colleagues enjoy a comfortable environment.
