Study, qualify & intern

  • Education Your qualification, explained. Understand what a job asks for, describe what you hold and plan what comes next. Aruban, Dutch, US and other international qualifications are read the same way: what was awarded, by whom, under which system.
  • For candidates Describe your qualification as it was awarded. A name alone tells an employer very little. Say what was awarded, where, under which system, and keep the proof close.
  • Aruba to the Netherlands Plan the study move, before the move. Entry, money and everyday life each have their own decision maker and their own deadlines. Put them on one plan.
  • The US and elsewhere Different system, same four questions. The Netherlands is one destination among many. Start from the credential you will receive and ask: who awards it, is the institution recognised, what is it compared with, and who decides your entry?
  • Internship / Stage From classroom to workplace. An internship joins a study programme to real work. The right route depends on where you study, where you want to work and who has to agree.
  • In Aruba Turn your studies into experience. Start with what your school needs, find a host who can give it to you, agree it in writing, and leave with evidence.
  • Coming to Aruba An Aruba internship starts with a plan. Studying abroad? Get school approval, a host and an agreement first. Then the DIMAS residence route, and the practical arrangements, before you book anything.
  • Aruba to the Netherlands Take your learning across the Kingdom. Your school approves it, a funder may help pay for it, and support services can help you settle. Keep the three roles apart.
  • Training & Upskilling Where to learn and upskill in Aruba A neutral directory of six training providers in Aruba: field, type of training, what each provider says about credentials, and whether we could verify it. Not a ranking. 8 sources cited · Checked 23 October 2026

Hire & host

  • For employers Ask for the qualification the role needs. A requirement is clearest when it names the work, the level, the field and what else you will accept. Candidates may hold Aruban, Dutch, US or other qualifications; write for all of them.
  • For employers Hosting an intern: what you will be asked. A school, a student and, for students coming from abroad, DIMAS will each ask something of the host. Knowing it before you advertise saves everyone time.
