Position Highlights

Food & Beverage Cost Controller. In this essential financial and operational role, you act as the steward of departmental efficiency and fiscal integrity. Your core purpose is to monitor, analyze, and optimize costs across our diverse culinary outlets. By providing quiet authority in inventory management and procurement oversight, you ensure that our commitment to high-standard guest experiences remains balanced with sound financial practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze daily food and beverage cost ratios to ensure alignment with established budgets.
• Perform regular physical inventory counts and spot checks across all storerooms and restaurant outlets.
• Identify and address operational inefficiencies or wastage through comprehensive variance analysis.
• Oversee the accurate recording of stock movements, transfers, and waste logs within our inventory systems.
• Collaborate with culinary and management teams to calibrate menu costs and procurement strategies.
• Maintain professional relationships with vendors to ensure cost-effective and high-quality supply chain management.
• Prepare detailed monthly cost reports and financial insights for senior leadership.
• Ensure all cost control procedures adhere to company standards and local health and safety regulations.

Requirements, Skills & Traits

Requirements:

A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, supplemented by 1–2 years of experience in hospitality cost control. Candidates must possess a valid Dutch passport or a valid work permit.

Core Skills:

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and specialized inventory management software. Strong analytical abilities to interpret financial data and operational trends. Full fluency in English and Papiamento; Dutch or Spanish is a professional asset.

Soft Skills:

Exceptional organizational precision and a solution-oriented mindset. The ability to communicate financial findings with professional poise and clarity.

Success Metrics

Excellence in this role is demonstrated by the consistent accuracy of financial reporting and the successful maintenance of cost targets. Success is measured by the reduction of inventory variances, the identification of actionable cost-saving opportunities, and the seamless coordination between procurement and operational teams to maintain high-quality service standards.
