Position Highlights
Electrician. As an electrician on the engineering team, your core purpose is to keep the resort's electrical systems safe and working. You will respond to guest requests and departmental work orders, troubleshoot faults, and repair, install, replace and test circuits, equipment and appliances.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle all guest complaints and requests involving electrical, wiring and lighting issues
- Complete daily departmental work requests
- Troubleshoot problematic situations as they arise
- Repair, install, replace and test electrical circuits, equipment and appliances using appropriate tools and testing instruments
- Maintain tools, workspace and equipment in good condition at all times
Requirements, Skills & Traits
Requirements:
EPI diploma or equivalent, with 2 years of experience in a similar position. Can understand English, Spanish and Dutch. Strong physical condition. Must hold a Dutch passport or a valid work permit.
Core Skills:
Knowledge of the principles of electricity. Knowledge of local electrical codes and ordinances. Knowledge of the operating principles of electrical motors and equipment. Testing with appropriate instruments.
Soft Skills:
Methodical problem solver who works safely. Reliable and organized with tools and workspace.
Success Metrics
Electrical requests are resolved promptly and safely, circuits and equipment are tested and working, and all work follows local electrical codes.
