Position Highlights

Food & Beverage Busser. In this active, multifaceted role, you provide the foundational support that bridges culinary preparation and dining operations. Working with quiet authority, your core purpose encompasses everything from preparing ingredients and plating desserts to managing the setup and breakdown of buffet stations. You ensure our kitchens and service areas are fully stocked, clean, and prepared to deliver a seamless culinary experience for our guests at our Eagle Beach properties.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive food ingredients and supplies from the main kitchen and pantry as required for daily operations.
• Review production schedules to determine food requirements, including variety and quantity needed.
• Season and prepare a wide variety of foods such as vegetables, fruits, meats, soups, salads and cereals in accordance with prescribed recipes.
• Slice, grind, and cook meats and vegetables using a full range of cooking methods.
• Carve and display meats, vegetables, fruits, and salads.
• Maintain clean work areas, utensils and equipment.
• Plate desserts.
• Deliver, set-up, breakdown and clean up from buffet stations.
• Ensure proper set-up, breakdown and cleaning of kitchen.

Requirements, Skills & Traits

Requirements:

High school diploma. A valid Health Card and the flexibility to work different shifts. Candidates must possess a Dutch passport or a valid work permit.

Core Skills:

Basic computer knowledge, food preparation, and strict adherence to food safety and HACCP guidelines. Previous experience is preferred but not required.

Soft Skills:

A friendly personality, strong multitasking abilities, and a service-minded approach to teamwork and operational support.

Success Metrics

Excellence in this role is demonstrated by the efficient preparation of ingredients and the seamless setup and breakdown of buffet stations. Success is measured by strict compliance with HACCP guidelines, the sustained cleanliness of culinary work areas, and a proactive approach that ensures both the kitchen and service teams remain fully supported throughout the shift.
