Position Highlights
Maintenance Man. As part of the engineering team, your core purpose is to keep the resort's rooms and facilities in good working order through routine preventive maintenance and repairs. You will replace locks and light bulbs, handle plumbing work, maintain HVAC equipment and repair small appliances.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of routine preventive maintenance work, including replacing locks and light bulbs
- Perform various plumbing-related work
- Perform routine repair and maintenance on heating, ventilation and air conditioning equipment, such as changing filters
- Repair small appliances such as fans, vacuum cleaners and microwave ovens
- Be familiar with the property's fire and emergency program
Requirements, Skills & Traits
Requirements:
EPB technical diploma or equivalent. Experience is not required but is welcome. Can understand and speak English and Spanish. Able to work different shifts. Strong physical condition. Must hold a Dutch passport or a valid work permit.
Core Skills:
Basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry and masonry skills. Routine HVAC maintenance. Small appliance repair.
Soft Skills:
Customer oriented and courteous around guests. Dependable and ready to work different shifts.
Success Metrics
Preventive maintenance is completed on schedule, plumbing, HVAC and appliance issues are resolved promptly, and fire and emergency procedures are understood and followed.
