Assistant Financial Controller. In this senior leadership role based within our Accounting team, your core purpose is to oversee the daily operations of the financial department. You serve as a critical guardian of our resort’s fiscal health, ensuring all financial transactions are accurate and strictly compliant with company policies. Your detail-oriented approach to analyzing results and delivering timely financial statements provides the essential data required for high-level operational decision-making.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or an MBA (an SPD qualification is considered a significant plus). 3 to 5 years of proven experience in hospitality finance or a similar industry.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budget management. High proficiency in standard financial software, including Excel, PMS, POS systems, Payroll Pro, and Sage.
Highly organized and detail-oriented with a proven ability to meet strict deadlines. Strong communication, leadership, and decision-making skills characterized by professional reliability and a “quiet authority.”
Consistent accuracy and timely delivery of all financial statements and closing processes. Strict adherence to departmental budgets and financial compliance standards. Successful leadership of the accounting team, resulting in streamlined daily operations and clear financial communication with resort executives.
