Position Highlights

General Engineer. In this versatile technical role, you serve as a vital component in the daily upkeep and operational stability of the property. Your core purpose is to utilize a broad range of technical skills—spanning electrical, mechanical, and AC systems—to ensure all guest rooms and resort facilities remain in top working order. By approaching guest service requests with quiet authority and a friendly demeanor, you contribute directly to a seamless and comfortable resort experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and execute necessary repairs across the resort property.
• Troubleshoot and address basic electrical and mechanical issues efficiently as they arise.
• Assist with the dedicated maintenance and repair of Air Conditioning (AC) units and ventilation systems.
• Conduct routine, detailed inspections of guest rooms and public areas to identify and resolve maintenance needs proactively.
• Support the senior maintenance team with specialized technical projects and ongoing preventative maintenance.
• Respond to guest service requests promptly, maintaining a professional and accommodating attitude.
• Ensure all technical work is completed safely and strictly in accordance with resort quality standards.
• Maintain all tools and mechanical equipment in excellent, working condition.

Requirements, Skills & Traits

Requirements:

Minimum LTS diploma or equivalent, or at least three (3) years of relevant technical maintenance experience.

Core Skills:

Strong functional knowledge and hands-on skills in electrical, mechanical, and HVAC/AC systems. Multilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.

Soft Skills:

A service-minded and friendly personality. Strong work ethic with a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
