General Engineer Full Time NEW

Position Overview

Costa Linda Beach Resort is currently seeking a versatile and hardworking General Engineer to join our maintenance team. In this role, you will be essential to the daily upkeep of the property, utilizing a broad range of technical skills to ensure all guest rooms and resort facilities are in top working order.

The ideal candidate is a “handyperson” with a solid foundation in multiple trades, a friendly personality, and a dedication to providing high-quality service to our guests and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs across the resort property

• Troubleshoot and address basic electrical and mechanical issues as they arise

• Assist with the maintenance and repair of Air Conditioning (AC) units and ventilation systems

• Conduct routine inspections of guest rooms and public areas to identify and fix maintenance needs

• Support the senior maintenance team with specialized projects and preventative maintenance

• Respond to guest service requests promptly with a professional and friendly attitude

• Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with resort quality standards

• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition

Education & Qualifications

• Minimum LTS diploma or equivalent; or at least three (3) years of relevant experience

• Functional knowledge and skills in electrical, mechanical, and AC systems

• Multilingual proficiency in English and Spanish

• Service-minded with a friendly, approachable personality

• Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team

• Strong work ethic and a proactive approach to problem-solving
