Position Highlights

As a Housekeeping Reliever, you serve as a vital support pillar within our resort operations. Your core purpose is to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and guest comfort by providing versatile coverage across the housekeeping department, ensuring that every room and public space meets our “Aruba Beach Club” standard of excellence regardless of shift or staff transitions.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute comprehensive cleaning and sanitization protocols in guest rooms and public areas to ensure an inviting atmosphere.
• Adapt quickly to various departmental needs, covering shifts and assignments to maintain seamless operational flow during peak periods.
• Monitor and replenish guest room amenities and supplies, ensuring every arrival experiences immediate luxury and comfort.
• Identify and report maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to preserve the physical integrity of the resort property.
• Provide attentive and professional guest service, addressing inquiries or requests with a helpful and service-oriented demeanor.
• Manage the safe handling of cleaning chemicals and industrial equipment in strict accordance with resort safety standards.

Requirements, Skills & Traits

• Requirements: Minimum education level of MAVO / EPB or equivalent. Must be of Dutch nationality or possess a valid work permit. Must have own transportation. Age range: 18 to 50 years. Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.

• Core Skills: Multilingual fluency in English, Spanish, and Papiamento. Proficient in industrial cleaning techniques and sanitization standards. Strong physical stamina for an active resort environment.

• Soft Skills: High level of flexibility and adaptability. Exceptional attention to detail. Strong team-player mindset with a proactive work ethic.

Success Metrics

Consistently high scores on room readiness and cleanliness inspections. Zero downtime in departmental coverage during shift transitions. Positive guest feedback regarding responsiveness and room quality during assigned shifts.
