Position Highlights

Housekeeping Supervisor. In this essential leadership role, your core purpose is to guide the daily operations of the housekeeping and laundry departments. You serve as a guardian of our resort’s intimate charm, ensuring that every room and public area meets our rigorous standards for cleanliness, comfort, and professional presentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate the daily workflows of the housekeeping and laundry staff to ensure operational efficiency.
• Conduct thorough inspections of guest rooms and public areas to verify compliance with resort standards and safety protocols.
• Manage and monitor inventory levels for cleaning supplies, linens, and guest amenities.
• Provide ongoing training and mentorship to the team to sustain a high level of service excellence.
• Coordinate closely with the maintenance department to facilitate prompt repairs and facility improvements.
• Assist with staff scheduling and performance evaluations to maintain a productive and motivated workforce.

Requirements, Skills & Traits

Requirements:

High School diploma or an equivalent qualification; a hospitality certification is highly preferred. Minimum of 2–3 years of proven supervisory experience within a housekeeping or hospitality environment. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Core Skills:

Strong leadership and organizational capabilities. Proficient in English; fluency in Papiamento, Dutch, or Spanish is a significant asset for local coordination.

Soft Skills:

Detail-oriented, energetic, and committed to a community-focused hospitality approach.

Success Metrics

Demonstrated consistency in high cleanliness and inspection scores across guest rooms and public areas. Efficient management of departmental inventory and operational costs. Sustained high performance and engagement within the housekeeping team through effective mentorship and leadership.
