Position Highlights
Hospitality Agent. As the welcoming face of Amsterdam Manor Beach Resort, your interactions set the tone for our guests’ entire vacation. Your core purpose is to turn first impressions into lasting, cherished memories by connecting with travelers before they arrive and ensuring a seamless experience through every stage of their stay.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the warm and professional primary point of contact for guests from pre-arrival through departure.
- Execute seamless check-in and check-out processes with efficiency and a welcoming demeanor.
- Anticipate guest needs, provide thoughtful local recommendations, and assist with booking on-island activities.
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries, thoughtfully resolving any concerns with empathy and professionalism.
- Maintain perfectly accurate guest records, process payments securely, and manage daily reservations.
- Collaborate closely with the housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure all guest requests are met seamlessly.
Requirements, Skills & Traits
Requirements:
Previous experience in a front desk, concierge, or guest relations role within the hospitality industry. Full fluency in English; knowledge of Spanish, Dutch, or Papiamento is highly valued. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Core Skills:
Proficiency with hotel Property Management Systems (PMS) and standard computer software. Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a busy lobby environment.
Soft Skills:
Naturally welcoming and empathetic demeanor. Proactive problem-solving mindset with a passion for creating authentic guest connections.
Success Metrics
Demonstrated consistency in executing seamless and welcoming check-in/check-out experiences. Sustained accuracy in guest data entry and payment processing. Positive guest feedback scores highlighting personalized service and helpful local recommendations.
