Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Waiter to become a vital part of the dining experience at Amsterdam Manor Beach Resort. In this guest-facing role, you will do much more than simply take orders. You are the face of our restaurant, creating memorable moments and reflecting the true warmth of Aruban hospitality for every person at your table.
You will lead by example. We rely on our senior dining staff to mentor junior team members while anticipating guest needs to provide seamless, personalized service. We need a professional who remains confidently composed during peak hours and takes genuine pride in their craft.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, personalized, and proactive table service to all restaurant guests.
- Guide and mentor junior serving staff by modeling exemplary hospitality standards.
- Anticipate guest needs and preferences to elevate their dining experience.
- Accurately process food and beverage orders utilizing the ALOHA POS system.
- Maintain a thorough, up-to-date knowledge of our menus, ingredients, and daily specials.
- Ensure proper table setup, flawless presentation, and dining room organization.
- Handle guest inquiries and thoughtfully resolve any service issues with professionalism and grace.
- Collaborate closely with the kitchen and bar teams to guarantee a seamless flow of service.
- Process payments securely and maintain perfectly accurate transaction records.
- Uphold rigorous cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the dining areas.
Requirements & Qualifications
- High School diploma complemented by a Hospitality Training certification.
- 2+ years of proven experience in upscale restaurant service.
- Full fluency in English, Spanish, and Papiamento to connect with our diverse clientele.
- Proficiency with the ALOHA POS system or similar restaurant management software.
- Exceptional multitasking abilities in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Impeccable grooming and a consistently professional appearance.
- The ability to maintain composure, warmth, and efficiency during peak service periods.
- A strong team player mentality with natural mentoring and leadership capabilities.
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by resort operations.
