Position Overview
As a Hostess at Passions on the Beach, you set the tone for our guests’ dining experience from the very first hello. You are the welcoming face that greets travelers as they arrive for an unforgettable evening dining on the sand.
We rely on your grace and organizational skills to keep reservations and seating flowing smoothly. By managing the entrance with confidence, you directly support our entire service team, ensuring the restaurant remains calm and organized even during our busiest sunset hours.

Key Responsibilities
- Welcome arriving guests to Passions on the Beach with genuine warmth, establishing a positive first impression.
- Manage daily reservations, waitlists, and seating charts to ensure a smooth and efficient flow of service.
- Escort guests to their tables, present menus, and ensure they are comfortably seated before introducing their server.
- Answer guest inquiries gracefully, thoughtfully accommodating special seating requests and noting dietary needs.
- Support the wider food and beverage team by communicating clearly, helping maintain an organized service environment.
- Maintain an impeccably clean, highly welcoming, and fully stocked host stand throughout your shift.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Previous experience as a hostess, concierge, or in a high-volume, guest-facing hospitality role is highly preferred.
- A naturally outgoing, highly approachable demeanor and a consistently professional appearance.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to remain calm and composed during peak dining hours.
- Full fluency in English to connect easily with our international guests; knowledge of Spanish, Dutch, or Papiamento is an excellent bonus.
- Familiarity with restaurant reservation software and basic point-of-sale systems.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, particularly evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by resort operations.
